The Spielberg Blogathon will be hosted by Adam Zanzie and Ryan Kelly. It will run from December 18th to the 28th.

In order to participate, just host a piece at your site, and send it to Adam and Ryan (or just one of us if you're lazy). It will be linked to both at Adam and Ryan's personal sites and here on the blogathon's official site.

See you in December.

  1. Excellent. I will write about SOMETHING EVIL.

  2. Simon, a post on Something Evil would be MOST appreciated! Even though I've seen all of Spielberg's theatrical films, I've barely seen any of his TV work--that movie included. I know it's on YouTube, though; guess I have no choice but to watch it there. I also hope somebody uploads his Martin Laundau TV movie, Savage, on YouTube (or, better yet, writes about it for the blogathon!).

  3. Okay. I'm in. I was wanting to "reconsider" Spielberg's 2000's output sometime last Spring...and (like most blog 'projects') I just never got around to it. I might be able to come up with a post about all of his work from the 00's. I'll let ya know.

  5. Count me in. I think I'll do something on CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. Prolly my fave later period Spielberg.

  6. A wonderful movie, and sorely underrated, or undervalued, rather. I think that, in addition to being a hell of a lot of fun, it's one of Spielberg's richest works. Can't wait to read it.

  7. J.D. and Ryan:

I'm just seeing these comments on Friday night after letting Adam know that my review of Catch Me If You Can is up. Adam has the link, which he'll put up as part of the blogathon on the 18th.

Looking forward to reading another take on CATCH

  8. Fever's up, two days left! I've got my Munich, War of the Worlds, A.I. ready, a piece on Spielberg and Family and, hopefully I 'll prepare one more for a particular sequence of Jaws.

Thanks again guys, it's been a great Spielberg period.

    Hope we read interesting stuff!

  10. Thanks Adam for putting up both my pieces on A.I and Schindlers List. I still consider A.I, my favorite Spielberg movie to date.
